We think that Biothane is just a little bit magic. It is brilliantly hard wearing, weatherproof, waterproof and wipes clean. It basically speaks DOG.
It is also made in a fantastic rainbow of colours. Which speaks US. It's like a match made in happy town. You really can select the perfct shade for you & your dog.
It is also 100% vegan. And is sometimes refered to as vegan leather. We use original Biothane which is made in the USA by coating polyester webbing in PVC.
All of our Biothane Collections are handmade by the Creature Clothes team in our Brighton shop, nestled in the middle of the world famous North Lanes.
The Biothane itself is magnificent. It is very easy to clean – you can just wipe it with a cloth and some Ecover or similar, even a biodegradable doggy wipe will do the trick. It honestly looks brand new. I've even put it in the washing machine, though we don't advide that (it was completely fine though!).
Biothane is completely waterproof and weather proof. Picture this... we've all been there. You go for a dog walk & the skies open, drenching you both. But after this soggy walk you won't have to ring out your dog's collar and lead and hang it over the radiator to dry because the rain just runs off the Biothane - it's a game changer for us dog owners.
We make our Biothane Collection in 2 thicknesses - 18mm for smaller dogs and 25mm for bigger. Our size 3 is available in both options as standard. The collars do up with a buckle and the buckle holes are internally sealed to prevent fraying.
We make multiple lead options so you really can find the lead that is exactly right for you, the human. From a straight up standard lead, available in 2 thicknesses to an awesome hands free, adjustable or running lead in multiple lengths - we genuinely have the set for everyone. Mix and Match your collar and lead colours or keep them as a set!

Care Instructions:
Wipe clean with a damp cloth using ecover, washing up liquid or cleaning fluid.
Can also be machine washed but the metalware may damage your washing machine and this may also reduce the longevity of your collar or lead. Stick to wiping down if you can.
