Royal Mail Strike Action This Christmas…

…and what we are doing about it.

It looks like there will be a lot of disruption with the post in the run up to Christmas this year, with over 16 days of strike action proposed in November and December.  Here are the dates that the Communication Workers Union are proposing to hold strike action in the coming months:

We use Royal Mail to deliver our smaller items and DPD to deliver our larger items.  If you are concerned about your order delivery being effected by the Royal Mail strike action then we strongly recommend that you select Tracked Courier at checkout.  You parcel will then be sent via DPD.

For the past few months we have been offering Free Shipping on orders over £50 and have decided to continue this offer in the run up to Christmas and during the postal strikes.

In response to the proposed strike action, we have taken the decision to upgrade our Free Shipping offer to our Free Tracked Courier Service (DPD) on orders over £50 in order to help everyone to receive their orders promptly and securely over the proposed Royal Mail strike action.
