We are open in Lockdown 3.0

Here we are again.  Hello Covid Lockdown 3.0… we are still open.

We hope that you are all keeping well and safe in these strange and troubled times.  We remain open and continue to have Covid safety measures in place.

Unfortunately, due to Covid our manufacture and delivery times are taking a little longer than normal.  We are still working our hardest to get your orders out to you as fast as we possibly can.

Our Covid Secure Measures Explained:

The majority of work that we do can not be done at home, so our manufacturing team will be continuing to come in to the workshop.  All office work or admin is to be done from home where possible.

To stay open in Covid Lockdown 3.0 we are observing social distancing measures in the extreme – something that we are very lucky to be able to do given that we work in an old WW2 Aircraft Hangar.  Our workshop is divided into 2 – leatherwork on one side and sewing on the other.  Team members from either section are not allowed to cross in to the other section.  Everyone must maintain at least 2m between one another at all times.  We are only a little team so this the best way to keep us all separate.

All members of our making team are required to wear a mask at all times when in the workshop, and ideally a visor too.  Hand sanitising stations are at the front of the building and anti bacterial hand wash is available throughout the workshop.  Hand washing facilities are available at 2 locations within the workshop too.

Our workshop is (normally here we say “unfortunately”, this has now become “fortunately”) very draughty and open, with big aircraft doors at the front for ventilation.  It used to house small fighter planes belonging to the American Air Force, we are a long wide space.  The front of this area is dedicated to dispatch and arrivals.  Couriers and delivery people leave and collect parcels from a dedicated bay at the front of our space while our team work at the back.

If any member of our team starts to experience symptoms they are asked to immediately isolate and get tested, only returning after a negative test result.

Delivery Times & Contacting Us

We are operating reduced opening times during this lockdown.  We will be closed on Tuesdays and Fridays during this lockdown.  If you can’t get through to us on the phone please email info@creatureclothes.com and one of us will get back to you as soon as possible.

Please bear with us while we work under these strict workshop rules.  The restrictions to stay open in this covid lockdown mean that the making of our Creature Clothes products takes a little longer.  But we strongly believe it is better to take longer and keep everyone involved as safe as we possibly can.
